Volleyball Player Discharged after Recovering from Covid-19 |

Havana.- Cuban volleyball player Javier Ernesto Jiménez, currently playing in Estonia, has been discharged from hospital after undergoing epidemiological surveillance, following a positive test to Covid-19.
A member of the Saaremaa VK, Jiménez was examined as a contact, after the technical director of that team was confirmed as suffering from such condition, on his return from a match played in Italy.
Cuban sports officials have indicated that Jiménez is in a good mood and aware of the efforts made to have him back in his team and country.
According to specialists from the Institute of Sports Medicine, Jiménez is in very good health and has not shown any symptoms of Covid-19 so far.
Cuban sports authorities have gone to great lengths to guarantee the safety of athletes currently outside the country.
