Cuba to Regulate Border Entrance
Monday, March 23, 2020

Havana.- Cuba will regulate access to the island by air and sea, as part of the actions aimed at dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.

The measure will be in force for 30 days and could be extended if the number of SARS-Cov2-Coronavirus infections rise.

Cuba is ready to ensure the departure of about 60,000 tourists, after which only residents will enter the island.

The authorities have reported these measures to international Civil Aviation, Air Transport and International Maritime organizations.

The measures are based on international protocols and the country's experience.
