Thousands of Cuban Medicine Students to Join Active Research |

Havana.- A massive and active research in the face of Covid-19 is bringing together over 28,000 Cuban medical students, seeking to identify flu symptoms in the population and possible respiratory problems.
The research began following a brief training course on the disease and how to prevent it.
These students do not establish close contacts with people, nor do they diagnose the disease, they just have to find out if potential patients carry any flu-like symptoms and then proceed to inform the area’s doctor.
The main protection measures for these students are the same as for the general population, namely washing hands, not touching surfaces, being a meter and a half away from people and avoiding touching their own faces.
