Cienfuegos Certifies Medical Sciences Diplomas |

Havana.- The University of Medical Sciences of Cienfuegos, in the central part of Cuba, has certified several of the subjects in its curriculum.
The national board in charge of evaluating the teaching process has granted the certification to the careers of Internal and Intensive Medicine, together with that of Pediatrics.
Likewise, it has upgraded Nursing and Stomatology specialties to Excellent level, in order to increase the quality of teachers training.
The university is planning to bestow institutional accreditation to the University next June.
Over 3,700 students have enrolled in this university, including 186 foreigners from 46 countries, most of them from South Africa, the Congo and Angola, plus a number of Latin Americans.
