Havana.- The eastern Cuban province of Holguín is promoting the preservation of its scientific heritage, by resorting to new technologies.
One case in point is the project “Visibility of Holguin science”, featuring the results of innovation and technology in the territory.
The project displays studies on Spino-cerebellar ataxia type II, natural and traditional medicine, biotechnology, nanotechnology and the production of construction materials.
Also included are photos, videos and archives that are part of the territorial historical memory and allow the vocational training of younger students.
Visibility of Holguin Science has been filed into 12 volumes, following an initiative by the Cuban Society of Information Sciences subsidiary in the province.
