Caribbean Region to Expand Hotel Infrastructure |

Nassau.- In early 2020 the Caribbean region has been hosting 152 hotel projects under construction, which together provide 31,787 rooms.
According to specialized sources, some 20,000 of those rooms fall into the luxury category.
Mexico’s Caribbean area concentrates 52 percent of them, with 16 thousand 699, representing four percent of the available figure in that country.
Another 6,356 rooms are reported in the Dominican Republic, equivalent to 8.4 percent of the existing offer, together with 616 in Cuba (2.5 percent).
