Royal Caribbean Shipping Company to Open Beach Club
Monday, February 24, 2020

Nassau.- The Royal Caribbean International shipping company, specializing in cruise tourism, has signed an agreement to erect a Royal Beach Club in Antigua and Barbuda.

Construction works will start in 2020 and by the time of completion the resort will offer passengers private cabins, a pool with a bar, regional food offers, barbecues on the island, jet skis, paddle surfing and snorkeling.

Royal Caribbean executives indicate they are assessing options that will allow locals to enjoy the beach club on days when boats are out travelling.

In addition, the shipping company will take its ship Symphony of the Seas to Antigua, making it the first Oasis class ship to land in that area.

The ship is the largest of its kind in the world, with 228 thousand tons and capacity for six thousand 360 passengers, and equipped with 16 decks, 19 swimming pools, an ice skating rink and a garden with 12 thousand natural plants.
