Cuba to Host Tropical Medicine Course |

Havana.- Havana will host the 13th Tropical and Travel Medicine Course, aimed at doctors, nurses and other health professionals.
The Pedro Kourí Institute of Tropical Medicine (IPK), the national center of reference for infectious diseases, will organize the specialized meeting.
In addition to the IPK, the appointment is supported by the Medical Services of Maastricht, the Netherlands, with participation by other health institutions in Havana.
The agenda includes conferences, round tables and practical activities where attendees will delve into aspects related to this multidisciplinary medical specialty.
The event will focus on arbovirosis, hemorrhagic fevers, fungal diseases, acute respiratory infections, tuberculosis, cholera, typhoid fever, polio and hepatitis.
