Cuban Baseball Players to Attend U23 Continental Event |

Havana.- Cuban baseball players will be attending the Pan American Baseball Championship in the U23 category, to be held this month in Honduras.
The island’s team is made up of three catchers, six regular players, five outfielders and 10 pitchers, all led by coach Eriel Sánchez.
The Cuban Ninth will play the hosts, as well as Panama, Colombia, Argentina and Guatemala, vying for one of the three positions in the Super Round.
The Cubans will try to move to the next stage in Nicaragua, playing the local team, Brazil, Costa Rica, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.
Nicaragua will also host the Super Round, attended by the first three winners of each group, vying for the three disputed positions for the World Championship to be organized in Mexico.
