Cuban Taekwondo Gears Up for Pre-Olympic event |

Havana.- Four Cuban Taekwondo experts will compete at the Pre-Olympic Tournament of that discipline, scheduled for Costa Rica.
The Cuban team is made up of Yamitzi Carbonell (over 67 kilograms), José Angel Cobas (-80), Rafael Alba (+ 80) and Arlettys Acosta (-67 kg).
Twice world champion Alba recently won the title at the VII Turkish Open, in Istanbul, Turkey.
He has been ranked 12th at Olympics (213.24 points) and holds the first place in the Americas, while Cobas is 75th (57.25), Arletty 95th (31.39) and Carbonell 187th (8.64).
The island’s most outstanding Taekwondo experts recently completed a preparation phase in the Dominican Republic.
