Matanzas Province to Host International Puppet Workshop |

Havana.- In April, the western Cuban province of Matanzas will host the 4th edition of the International Puppet Workshop, called Titim by insiders.
According to organizers, in 2020 the name will change to International Puppet Festival of Matanzas (Festitim), making it some kind of festival and workshop mix.
The event will bring together 17 Cuban puppet ensembles, to be joined by foreign guests.
Representing the host country will be companies Andante Street Theater, Tuyo Teatro, Alánimo Teatro, El Mejunje Children's Front, Guiñol Los cuenteros, Puppet Retablos, La Proa, La Salamandra, Teatro del Puerto, El Arca, Proyecto Polichinela and Alas Teatro.
The event will feature works for both children and adults, and experimental plays that mix dance, music and painting.
