Literature Takes Taste of Cuban Cuisine to Europe

Havana.- Cuban cuisine will have a niche at Paris Cookbook Fair in Louvre-Tuileries, thanks to “Saber y Sabor” (Knowledge and Flavor), written by Cuban chef Frank Rodríguez, whose book previously won the Best Gourmand Awards of the last quarter of the century.

It was also awarded the Latin American Prize at the international contest of the Best Cooking Books of the World 2016, held in Yantai, People's Republic of China.

Published by Acana Printing Press, “Saber y Sabor” features recipes for soups, rice, fish, shellfish, meat, eggs, vegetables and tubers.

It also recounts the culinary tastes of personalities such as Simón Bolívar and Fidel Castro, among others.
