Havana’s International Book Fair Starts Touring Provinces |

Havana.- After closing activities in Cuba’s capital city, the 29th edition of Havana’s International Book Fair is moving to other provinces.
Organizers attest to have organized over 1,500 literary lectures and book launchings, adding to the selling of some 600,000 volumes.
From now on, the Fair will be touring the island, until ending on April 12th, in the eastern province of Santiago.
All along there will be some 4,000 books on sale, totaling nearly four million copies
This year's event pays tribute to the research work by late essayist Ana Cairo, National Prize for Social and Humanistic Sciences, and to the legacy of playwright Eugenio Hernández, winner of the National Theater Award in 2005.
