Growing Flow of Tourists to Bahamas |

Nassau.- Tourist destinations in the Bahamas received 7.2 million foreign visitors in 2019, despite the adverse effects of Hurricane Dorian.
According to industry sources, that figure represents a 9 percent increase, compared to 2018, registering a 52 percent growth over 10 years.
One million 800 hundred visitors stayed in the island’s hotels for at least one night, a historical record high, with 1.45 million Americans among them.
Insiders consider this result derives from aggressive promotional campaigns and adequate work in public relations, sales and air transport.
According to government officials the hurricane havoc was followed by joint efforts by specialized travel and lifestyle entities willing to support Bahamas in attracting vacationers.
