Cruise Tourism Becomes Popular in Mexico |

Mexico.- Mexico’s tourism industry yielded a positive balance in the cruise modality in 2019, when more than nine million travellers used this option.
Arrivals of passengers on cruise ships in Mexico increased 10 percent, while passengers' expenditures rose 12.3 percent.
Cozumel was on top of the list, with 4.6 million visitors, followed by Majahual, with 1.6 million.
Insiders said the average expenditure of cruise passengers last year was 68.8 dollars, a 2.3-percent year-on-year rise.
Over the same period, Mexico received two thousand 951 vessels, 10.5 percent more than in 2018, while Cozumel, Majahual, Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta welcome 84.8 percent of the total.
