Cuba’s Best Soccer Players in 2019 Awarded |

Havana.- Cuban soccer officials recognized winger Arichel Hernández and forward Johana Calderón as the best soccer players in the island in 2019.
Hernández participated in the Concacaf League of Nations and the Gold Cup, while Calderón finished as a sub-leader scorer in the Caribbean qualifiers.
Meanwhile, in the youth category the awards went to containment winger Karel Espino and forward Khaterine Rodríguez.
Edgar Castillo was chosen as the best futsal player, and Yadel Martínez was the best Cuban referee for the fifth consecutive year, on account of his participation in the University World Cup, in China, and in the Gold Cup.
Meanwhile, in special modalities the award went to Erick Hernández, in the ball domain tests, in which he broke several world records.
