Cuba's Acosta Dance Company to Perform in UK |

Havana.- The Acosta Dance Company, led by renowned dancer Carlos Acosta, will perform in February at the Linbury Theater, attached to the Royal Opera House in London.
The Cuban ensemble will take the show “Acosta Dance Up Close”, composed of “The crossing over Niagara”, by Cuban choreographer Marianela Boán and “Stamp”, by María Rovira.
The program will also include the duet “Soledad”, by Rafael Bonachela, “Interpreted World”, by Juliano Nunes, and “Only Two”, by Russell Maliphant, to be interpreted by Acosta himself.
The British Royal Opera House has highlighted the Cuban company’s distinctive repertoire, which bring together national and international influences regarding technique, choreography and music.
The dance company is defined as a space for renewal, search and experimentation, not only for Cuban artists, but also to artists elsewhere.
