Cuban Judokas Shine at European Events |

Havana.- Cuba’s foremost judokas have performed remarkably well at some European competitions this year, as they gear up for the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
Among ladies, Idalys Ortiz (over 78 kg) and Kaliema Antomarchi (78 kg) came out winners at Belgium’s Herstal Open.
Likewise, silver went to Arnaes Odelin (57 kg) and bronze to Dayle Ojeda. Jahomys Acosta was fifth in the 52 kg division.
Meanwhile, in the men’s turf, Orlando Polanco (66 kg), Iván Silva (100 kg) and Andy Granda (+100) won their respective golds at Belgium’s traditional Vise Tournament
Before heading for Paris, to attend a Grand Slam type event, Cubans will be training at a field in Herstal.
