Havana to Pay Tribute to Chopin
Monday, February 10, 2020

Havana.- In the Year of Chopin, organized by the late musician’s motherland, Poland, the Cuban capital will be hosting a myriad of related activities.

Accordingly, several Polish musicians will play in Havana, thus backing the city’s aspiration to join UNESCOS’s network of Creative Cities.

As part of the event, Karolina Mikolajczyk e Iwo Jedynecki’s duo (violin and accordion), will perform here, in places like the José Martí Memorial’s Theater, The Lesser Basilica at the Saint Francis of Assisi Monastery and the House of ALBA Movement.

Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin was a Polish piano virtuoso, ranked among the greatest in history and a leading representative of Romanticism in music.
