Havana to Host Salsa Festival |

Havana.- The 5th Salsa Festival in Cuba will be featuring famous singer and composer Victor Manuel from Puerto Rico, also known as “The Sonero of Youth”, who will debut here with his orchestra, sources said.
The event will be presenting an average three to four musical ensembles a day, joined by Carnival troupes and dance choruses.
Also featured at the Fest will be Septeto Santiaguero, Formell and los Van Van, Manolito Simonet and his Trabuco, NG La Banda, Havana D'Primera, Pupy y Los que Son Son, Haila Mompié and Tania Pantoja
In addition, there will be dance workshops on Afro Cuban music, Rhumba, Salsa and Casino Round, at El Sauce Cultural Center and focused on the 380 registered foreign participants.
