Las Tunas Province Assesses its Tourist Potential |

Havana.- Wildlife shelter Monte Cabaniguan, in the eastern Cuban province of Las Tunas, has been listed among local attractions devised to lure foreign visitors.
Accordingly, provincial tourist authorities are bent on completing the required infrastructure, to facilitate trekking and other related offers in that fauna and flora-rich region.
There are also plans to add new lodging and improve the conditions at Boca de Jobabo Biologic Station, while readying the sighting places of birds in the mangrove swamps.
As part of the general plan, a half kilometer footbridge will be erected to connect the land with one of the estuaries and sightseeing points will be opened at best locations.
