Cuban Health Experts Contribute Specialized Literature |

Havana.- Outstanding Cuban medical experts have made great contributions to the formation of doctors, nurses and other staff in the country, by providing them with highly valuable written material.
One of those prominent texts is “Buccal Surgery”, by Doctor Oscar Rivero, a professor at Carlos J. Finlay Medical Sciences University. The book is now part of the Cuban stomatologists' basic curriculum.
At the same university students rely on the Advanced Program to tend to lung cancer patients, which calls for a high resolution medical examination, capable of providing a quick and effective diagnosis on the ailment.
In the province of Camaguey, the local Medical Sciences University has two innovative units, namely the Center for the Development of Social and Humanistic Sciences on Health (CENDECSA, in Spanish), and the Center for Immunology and Biological Products (CENIPBI).
CENDECSA usually resorts to some indicators to measure the social impact of applying such strategies as Heberprot-P to treat the diabetics foot’s ulcer.
