Cuba's Post Office Ponders Market Options
Monday, January 27, 2020

Havana.- Correos de Cuba, the island's commercially oriented Post Office, is evaluating exporting stamps and philatelic items.

Authorities in the field have referred to the possibility of having foreign investment on the Postal Graphics line of the Enterprise for General Assurance, with the aim to issue stamps and postcards.

There are also plans to allocate foreign capital to automatize the handling of parcels at the International Exchange Office.

Simultaneously, Correos has been establishing strategic partnerships with national entities, to render services to third parties, contemplating the payment of telephone and electricity bills, as well as personal credits, social security and assistance, the delivery of fiscal packages and the marketing of fiscal stamps for documents.
