Havana.- Mixed enterprise Tropical Contramaestre Inc., located in Cuba's east, has been steadily increasing its processing of fruits.
Amid the seasonal citrus harvest, Tropical is processing Seville and Valencian oranges, grapefruits and limes, plus mango and guava for marmalade.
Market demand has led the company into establishing three working shifts, with output going to specialized entities and hotels.
Simultaneously, Tropical is updating its equipment, so as to guarantee the packing process, including nuts and dried fruits.
In the meantime, agricultural suppliers are ensuring the timely delivery of raw materials, thus backing the industry’s high quality.
