Cuba and Belize Promote Sports Cooperation |

Havana.- Cuba and Belize have signed a sports cooperation agreement that will guarantee the assistance by Cuban specialists to the Central American nation.
The document bears the signature of the chairmen of the Belizean and Cuban Olympic Committees, namely Hilberto Martínez and Roberto León Richards.
Martínez voiced hopes of bringing the number of Cuban advisors to 40, amid expectations of adding other eight experts in Athletics, Cycling, Volley Ball and Table Tennis.
He also highlighted the contribution by Cuban experts to Belize winning medals in Central American Games in Athletics and Ladies Volley Ball.
León Richards recalled that this is the first Olympic Committee to renew the agreement this year, adding that the same procedure will be implemented with other Central American countries.
