Cuba Trains Team for Baseball Pre-Olympics |

Havana.- Cuba has completed a 36-player initial selection as a first step to later form its pre-Olympic team to play in Arizona, US.
Five catchers are featured in the first list, together with 11 team players, five outfielders and 15 pitchers, bringing the total to 24.
Players will be concentrated at Havana's Latin American Stadium starting February 3, for a time lapse lasting through the completion of the team.
The selection includes catchers Ariel Martínez, Yunior Ibarra, Frank Camilo Morejón, Yosvany Alarcón and Yendry Téllez, and outfielders Yoelkis Guibert, Roel Santos, Alberto Calderón, Frederich Cepeda and Alfredo Despaigne.
Among the pitchers are Josimar Issac Cousín, Lázaro Blanco, Freddy Asiel Alvarez, Liván Moinelo, Raidel Martínez, Yamichel Pérez and Miguel Lahera.
