Havana.- Cuba will be hosting the four-day Congress on Sciences Applied to Sports Medicine, featuring an agenda that includes the use of medicine in introductory sports and biomedical control of sports training in high profile competition.
Delegates are also to focus on rehabilitation and physio-prophylaxis, nutrition, cine anthropometry, medical urgencies and emergencies and physical activity and quality of living.
Commissions, round tables and masterly lectures will deal with Natural and Traditional Medicine, Imagening and Traumatology, Psychology, Cardiology, untraining and satisfactory longevity.
Before the event, different courses will be taught at the Institute of Sports Medicine, the University of Medical Sciences of Havana and other related institutions all over the country.
