Cuba Boosts Tourist Ties with Nicaragua
Monday, January 13, 2020

Havana.- Officials from Cuba and Nicaragua met here to assess previous agreements to promote multidestination tourist offers.

To this end, Nicaragua’s Tourism Minister Anasha Campbell and Presidential Consultant and ProNicaragua Official Laureano Ortega met with Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, Tourism Minister Juan Carlos García and executives from local travel agencies.

In early May last year Nicaragua attended the FitCuba International Tourist Fair 2019, where it displayed its own stand.

On the occasion, Nicaragua, Cuba and Mexico put forward a multidestination project backed by Caribbean governments, with an aim to increase the regional flow of tourists.
