Cuban Wrestlers Excel at German League

Havana.- Cuban wrestlers who have signed for the current season at the German Bundesliga have recorded 27 victories and 11 defeats.

In the semifinals the winners in the Germania Weingarten were Greek style wrestlers Javier Duménigo (60 kg) and Luis Orta (67 kg) and freestyle Alejandro Valdés (72 kg).

In the 63 kg division ASV Nendigen’s Yowlys Bonne lost to Russian rival Abasgadzhi Magomedov, junior world champion in 2018.

The much awaited fight between Mijaín López (Nendingen) and Oscar Pino (Germania) did not occur, but both men are in Germany, ready for the finals.

López has garnered four wins for Nendingen, while Pino did not show representing Germania. Bonne has had four victories and three defeats.

Fighting for Germania Weingarten are Duménigo (5-0), Orta (5-0), Pino (3-1), Alejandro Valdés (7-2), Reineris Andreu (1-3), and Daniel Grégorich (0-2).
