Hanoi.- In the first 11 months of 2019, Vietnam's tourism sector reported a record number of 16.3 million foreign visitors.
According to experts, in November alone, the country received 1.8 million foreign holidaymakers.
This trend has paved the way to receive 18 million vacationers in 2019, with income from associated services of around 30 billion dollars.
The General Statistics Office said that tourists visiting the country until the end of November represented an increase of 15.4 percent over the same period in 2018.
Vietnam has a solid tourist support with more than 500,000 rooms, distributed mostly in 116 five-star, 259 four-star and 488 three-star hotels.
