Cuban Female Cyclists Stands Out Worldwide |

Havana.- Cuban female road cyclists will start 2020 in the 16th place in the world ranking, with a score of 1,134 points.
According to the International Cycling Union, Arlenis Sierra got 977 points, Heidy Praderas 65, Idarys Cervantes 35, Yumari Gonzalez 31 and Iraida Garcia 26.
Thus, Cuba is the third best-ranked nation in the Americas, in a ranking where the United States is fourth with 2,995.49 points and Canada is in the eighth position with 1,887.25 points.
The international ranking of 90 countries is headed by the Netherlands with 9,228 points, followed by Italy with 5,380.33 and Germany with 3,195.24.
It is worth mentioning that in 2019, Sierra was the captain of the Astana Women's Team club, with which she won the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race in Australia and the Premondiale Giro della Toscana in Italy.
