Havana.- Cuban handmade books will be exhibited at by Ediciones Vigia at the International Book Fair of Guadalajara, Mexico.
The publishing house, which creates manufactured books, will exhibit titles such as Entre Nosotras el Mar, an anthology of Cuban and Catalonian poets, and Paisaje Interior, by Zurelys Lopez-Amaya.
Other books by Ediciones Vigia to be exhibited in Mexico are Figuras de Madera, by Rubiel G. Labarta; El Cuaderno de la Rata Muskrat, by Victor Rodriguez Nuñez; and La Ciudad que Amo, by Loreley Rebull.
The works available to the public were made with recycled materials, illuminated and numbered manually.
The Cuban stand at the event will bring together books from The Center for Studies on Jose Marti, Ediciones Vigia, the Academy of Sciences of Cuba, Collage Ediciones, Mundo Latino, Citmatel, and Artex's Soy Cubano Agency.
