Urbas Group Evaluates Alliances for Project in Cuba
Monday, December 2, 2019

Havana.- The financial group Urbas is evaluating possible alliances for the development of a tourist and residential complex in the central province of Cienfuegos.

It is worth mentioning that the creation of a joint venture with CubaGolf for this project has already been agreed upon.

The plan includes the construction of six luxury hotels, five golf courses, shopping malls, a marina and 15,000 homes, with an investment of around 3,500 million euros.

The first phase involves an investment of nearly 500 million euros and is articulated through a 25-year development plan, divided into five stages.

The alliance with Urbas is part of the plans by CubaGolf, which was established in 2013 to become a shareholder of companies that settle in the country to invest in real estate developments linked to golf and other tourist activities.
