Heberprot-P Results Are Evaluated in Sancti Spiritus |

Havana.- Experts from the central Cuban province of Sancti Spiritus are evaluating the results of the administration of the drug Heberprot-P.
The objective is to validate the aforementioned medication to treat diabetic foot ulcers, thus preventing amputations.
Experts from the Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Center (CIGB) are conducting a clinical trial on patients who have been treated in the North and Center polyclinics in the provincial capital.
The research aims to demonstrate and provide evidence that the drug cures and is safe, as well as revealing that patients do not generate many antibodies against this drug.
The importance of such an exclusive study at this time in Cuba lies in the possibility of incorporating the drug into new markets in North America and Europe.
