New Facilities for the Food Sector in Holguin |

Havana.- The eastern Cuban province of Holguin will benefit from the services of a cereal-processing plant to guarantee supplies to the domestic market.
The investment includes a center to process, dry, classify and package cereals in Velasco, in Gibara municipality.
The plant is among prioritized investments in the agricultural sector in Holguin in 2019.
In addition, it responds to development projects to support the cultivation of different varieties of grains, mainly beans and corn, in order to reduce imports.
The plant will have a processing capacity of 60 tons of cereals a day and its technology will make it possible to deliver these grains free of impurities and residues, and ready for sale or storage.
