Cuba Hosts Small-Format Biennial

Havana.- The city of Camagüey, capital of the province of the same name, is hosting the 11th National Small-Format Biennial this month, which is sponsored by the eJo Project.

According to organizers, the event has 15 guests and the participation of 17 cultural institutions with jury functions to evaluate 87 works by artists from several Cuban provinces.

On this occasion, the exhibit consists of visual artworks made using different techniques and with dimensions up to 25 centimeters.

The biennial will also involve students from the Vicentina de la Torre Academy of Arts, as an opportunity for the meeting between artists and public.

Likewise, artists will exhibit their works in the collective show Grandes que Hacen Pequeño, and will exchange with guests from Ciego de Avila, Sancti Spiritus, Las Tunas, Guantanamo and Havana.
