Cultural Options in Eastern Cuba
Monday, December 2, 2019

Havana.- The eastern Cuban province of Guantanamo is hosting the Chocolate and Coffee Music Festival, aimed at promoting the arts and traditions of the territory.

The event is attended by experts from Empresa de Café Alto Serra and Cuba Ron, who will offer the audience the opportunity to taste their products between concerts.

The festival aims to combine Cuban music with everything concerning the culture of coffee and cocoa, for which Sociedad Mercantil La Estancia S.A. will propose the tasting of cocktails based on those products.

On this occasion, the festival is being attended by the groups Qva Libre and Karamba, and the Charanga Latina orchestra.

The idea to organize the Chocolate with Coffee Music Festival came in August 2015, during the Guantanamo Carnivals and the event was officially inaugurated in October 2017.
