Interjet Favors Greater Presence in Cuban Market
Monday, November 11, 2019

Havana.- The Mexican airline Interjet is committed to expanding its presence in the Cuban market, for which it will operate daily flights to Havana.

That way, the airline offers 2,100 seats from the city of Merida, in Yucatan, to the Cuban capital.

Sources from the tourism sector pointed out that Havana, Varadero and Santa Clara are expected to receive more visitors, due to the expansion of Interjet's operations.

Recently, the airline increased its frequencies to Costa Rica, Lima (Peru) and Bogota (Colombia), while it expects upcoming openings in Quito, Ecuador and Cartagena (Colombia).

Interjet increased its flow of passengers on international routes by 30 percent in 2019, thus becoming the main Mexican airline to move international tourists to the Caribbean, Central and South America.
