Havana.- The Iberostar Selection Holguin Hotel, in eastern Cuba, is characterized by constant actions in favor of the environment.
With 638 rooms and a five-star category, the establishment is located on the coast of Pesquero and Estero beaches, in an area of excellent surroundings.
According to specialists, the hotel won the National Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) Award by starting its operations free of polluting substances in its refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
This guarantee is particularly relevant when taking into account that the hotel has 874 cooling and climate equipment, so the elimination of depleting substances to the ozone layer is high.
It also highlights the elimination of consumption of single-use plastic, the promotion of sustainable fishing and the improvement of coastal health, which leads to leaving the smallest footprint that can affect the coast.
