Foreign Investments in Cuba's Tourism
Monday, November 4, 2019

Havana.- Cuba's tourism sector attracts foreign investors to numerous projects open to foreign capital.

In this direction, hotel management and marketing contracts stand out, with and without financial contributions.

It is worth mentioning that Cuba already has some 27 joint ventures and 94 hotel management and marketing contracts, with 19 managements.

Under these modalities, some 44,000 rooms are run by foreign companies, a figure that represents 62 percent of the total number of rooms in the country.

The current portfolio of opportunities consists of joint ventures in the hotel sector and the creation of water parks in Havana and Varadero, and two others similar facilities linked to nature and adventure tourism.
