Las Tunas Hosts Film Festival |

Havana.- The eastern Cuban province of Las Tunas hosted the 25th Cinemazul Film Appreciation Festival, dedicated to the evolution of that artistic expression.
The event, dedicated to Alfred Hitchcock, consisted of an exhibition of motion pictures directed by the renowned filmmaker, who was also known as the Master of Suspense.
Debates were organized on several of Hitchcock's films, including the classic Psycho, The Birds, Vertigo, Rear Window and others.
One of Cinemazul's sections was the Children's Workshop Los Mil Elpidios, dedicated to the winners in the My Favorite Cartoon contest.
First held in 1994, the specialized forum is the only one of its kind and allows participants to acquire cinematographic knowledge, especially about soundtrack, photography, performances, special effects and stage design.
