Havana.- Cereales Cienfuegos, in central Cuba, benefits from an extensive investment program to increase production.
The industry, which produces flour for the domestic market, delivers about 300 tons a day, a volume that should reach 525 tons when operating at full capacity.
According to specialists, improvements have been made regarding the imports of spare parts, which will allow making progress, according to the schedule.
The investment in the project must end next year and the plant will save the country a large percentage of payments by concept of ships' stay.
Cylinders, breakers, personnel and load elevators, and generators rank among the most pressing issues for the industry.
