Cuban Beach Volleyball Team Wins Silver Medal |

Havana.- The Cuban duet of Yanileydis Sanchez and Lidiannys Echeverria finished second in the eighth stage of the North, Central America and the Caribbean (NORCECA) beach volleyball circuit.
At the event, held in Boca Chica, the Dominican Republic, the Cuban players lost 0-2 to the United States.
Sanchez and Echeverria played for the title as leaders of group D, with four victories without defeats, and won in the quarterfinals against Mexico.
In the semifinals, the Cuban players defeated Nicole-Megan, from Canada, 2-0 (21-19 y 21-16) and reached the gold medal game undefeated.
With these results, Cuban scored 540 points for the NORCECA ranking.
