Havana.- The Acosta Danza company, directed by dancer and choreographer Carlos Acosta, will complete an Asian tour that will include performances in China and Singapore.
In the latter, as part of the 2019 Dans Festival, the Cuban artists will dance at the Esplanade-Theaters on the Bay, a scenic center considered the most important in that country.
The program consists of the choreographies "There Is Nothing Around", by Goyo Montero, "Fauno", a duet by Belgian choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, which also created "Mermaid", danced by Carlos Acosta.
Meanwhile, in China, the shows will take place at the National Theater, with "Imponderable" and "Impronta", by Maria Rovira, and "Rooster", created by Christopher Bruce and based on the music of The Rolling Stones.
Acosta Danza is defined as a company for renewal, search for experimentation for Cuban artists and creators of the world, choreographers, musicians, designers, and plastic and audiovisual artists.
