Domestic Tourism Gains Ground in Eastern Cuba
Monday, September 16, 2019

Havana.- The eastern province of Santiago de Cuba has benefited from the growth of domestic tourism, supported by the management of the Havanatur T and T Oriente Sur group.

The aforementioned agency serves the territories of Santiago, Guantanamo and Granma and is an essential element to attract national vacationers.

In that regard, the updating of the contracting system for all suppliers stands out, with special attention to the most demanded hotel chains such as the hotels Sierra Mar and Carisol, and Los Corales.

Likewise, the use of satisfaction surveys for the immediate solution of problems, the improvement of quality and the organization of events are some of the actions taken to improve services.

Among the sites of greatest interest for holidaymakers are the Santa Ifigenia cemetery, the Antonio Maceo Revolution Square and the healthy recreation of the Leisure Club.
