Camagüey Increases Exports of Bee Honey |

Havana.- The eastern Cuban province of Camagüey completed the shipment of some 366 tons of bee honey to the international market from January to August.
The sale of this volume represented revenues for the economy close to 732,000 dollars, above the 543,000 dollars obtained in a similar period in 2018.
The increase was almost 100 tons more than those delivered in 2018, which means that export plans in the territory have been fulfilled.
With this result, conditions exist to close the current year with exports of some 700 tons of bee honey.
While obtaining honey for export, beekeepers have increased production of propolis and wax for the domestic market.
