Havana.- The exhibition The City as an Image consolidates spaces in homage to the Cuban capital on the occasion of its 500th anniversary.
The exhibition was presented by the company Genesis. Art Galleries, and consists of works by 12 photographers who reflected the urban framework and its people.
Among the photographers are Nestor Marti, whose photo was chosen for the corporate image of the portfolio; and Generoso Funcasta, author of a snapshot taken in 1933.
The other images were captured by Luis Mario Gell, Claudia Corrales, Liudmila Velazco and Nelson Ramirez de Arellano, Pedro Abascal, Humberto Mayol, Gabriel Guerra Bianchini and Tomas Inda, as well as Alfredo Sarabia Fajardo, Roberto and Osvaldo Salas, the latter is the author of a photograph of Jose Marti's home, which is an essential part of the project.
