Havana.- Las Terrazas tourist complex, in western Cuba, combines recreation and leisure with the natural, historical and cultural values of the place.
It is worth mentioning that a forest rehabilitation program is being carried out in that area and in just eight years, seven million trees have been planted.
As a complement, the Moka Hotel and other facilities that led to the tourist development of the community were built and put into operation.
In the place, there are also ruins of old coffee estate from the 19th century, a system of terraces with valuable species of trees, varied fauna, rivers and a migratory bird corridor.
Tourists have the opportunity to appreciate and learn about the ecological community, the eco-museum, the clubhouse, the Cusco bazaar with local crafts and an aerial ride in the canopy.
