Cuban Experts Warn about Teenage Pregnancy |

Havana.- Specialists from the University of Havana warned about the increase in teenage pregnancies, with worrying data in the ages of 12 to 14 years.
In that context, the National Center for Sex Education (CENESEX) convened theoretical panels on Integral Education on Sexuality, in which the main problems in Cuban society were analyzed.
The meetings brought together experts from the Center for Demographic Studies of the University of Havana and the United Nations Population Fund in Cuba (UNFPA).
In order to minimize the risk in the youngest, the importance of all the educational fields of society in teaching the different concepts that make up these issues was reiterated.
Meanwhile, Rafael Cuesta, international coordinator of the UNFPA Office in Cuba, referred to the relationship between Sexuality, Development and Gender Equality as the basis for a fairer society.
