Good Pace in Cuban Honey Production |

Havana.- Honey in its various presentations, including organic, has gained prominence in the Cuban economy.
In the case of eastern Ciego de Avila province, 302 tons of that food are expected to be produced in 2019.
To date, 184 tons of the product have been collected, from a 114-ton plan, which translates into 80 more than the previous year in the same period.
In addition, there are options to fulfill this year's plan, because the best time for beekeeping is in the final quarter with the blooming of species that provide the highest quality honey.
As for the production of wax, 3,165 kilograms have been accumulated until September, together with 375 tons of propolis, which is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry.
